Wayne Edward Queen, 64, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012, in Lilburn. Wayne was born on July 7, 1947 in Thomaston, GA to James and Lib Queen. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Queen loved attending University of Georgia football games and watching NASCAR on Sundays. Wayne is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susie, of Lilburn, son Wade Queen and wife Candice of Dallas, GA, brothers Al Queen and wife Patsy of Athens and David Queen and wife Deborah of Cumming, GA, and nephew Chris Queen and wife Leslye of Athens. Visitation will be from 10-11 am on Monday, March 26, 2012, at Eternal Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, March 26, 2012, in the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel with David Scarcy officiating. Burial will be at Georgia National Cemetery.
