Albert J. Bouchard

Meriden - Albert J. Bouchard, 85, of Meriden, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the MidState Medical Center, Meriden. He was the loving husband of Jacqueline McCord Bouchard for 25 years. He was predeceased by his first wife, Florence Seneschal in 1979.Born August 10, 1922 in VanBuren, ME, a son of the late Norbert and Helen (Soucy) Bouchard.Albert was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Army and retired from New Departure Hyatt a division of General Motors. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Meriden and was a former Southington resident. Besides his wife he is survived by four children and their spouses; Arlene Russell of Hendersonville, NC, Alice (Richard) Adducci of Plantsville, Albert (Barbara) Bouchard of Southington and Alan (Holly) Bouchard of Plantsville. He also leaves four step-children; Scott Morris and Marie Morris both of Hamden, Rodney Morris of Wallingford and Courtney Morris of Mt. Pleasant, SC; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; a sister Anita Raymond and two brothers, Laurence and Clarence Bouchard all of Southington. He was predeceased by two sisters, Lena Bouchard and Estelle Belanger and a brother Percy Bouchard.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 109 Goodwill Ave., Meriden.If one desires, contributions in Albert’s memory may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 109 Goodwill Ave., Meriden, CT 06451 or the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington is assisting the family with the arrangements.
