
Born May 1, 1913 in Southington the son of the late Vincent and Maria Casale. He Graduated from Lewis High School and had worked at the former Peck, Stow and Wilcox Co. during the 1040?s. He was the former President of the Meriden Labor Council and a Union Leader and Mediator for the AFL-CIO Council #4, the AFSME, and the Teachers Union, until his retirement in 1984, after 50 years of service with the unions. Mr. Casale was a former member of the Planning and Zoning Committee in Southington.
He is survived by a daughter Sandra Casale of Southington, a son Albert Casale Jr. and his wife Frances of New Milford, a sister Alba West of Southington, his grandchildren, Orian and Renata Casale, Melissa Ziemba, Bert Casale and Aaron Ziemba, a great grandson Bert J. Casale and many nieces and nephews including a special niece Carol Wolff. He was predeceased 2 sisters Emma Mann and Margaret Branick, 2 brothers Arthur and Joseph Casale.
His family would like to thank the Staff of the Summit at Plantsville for their loving care and kindness.
A memorial service will be held at a time to be announced by the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. There are no calling hours.
