Andrea A. Pepe

Andrea A. (Mattei) Pepe, 46, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer for over 4 years. She was the wife of Frank A. Pepe III and the cherished mother of Bryanna Pepe.

She was born on Jan. 12, 1969, the daughter of the late Andrew and Lois (Bristol) Mattei. She was employed by Eversource in Waterbury. Andrea was very active in the Southington Knights Travel Football and Cheer League as the director of cheerleading.

In addition to her husband and daughter she is survived by her brothers William Mattei of Las Vegas, NV and Andrew Mattei and Anne Jensen and her son Tyler of Seymour she also leaves her mother and father-in-law Frank and Rose Pepe of Southington, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Debbie and Roger Quint of Cheshire, three nephews Michael, Nicolas and Eric as well as many cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 9:15 am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St. Plantsville at 10 am for a Mass. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St.
