Beloved Grandmother

WOLCOTT- Anna (Perugini) Polletta, 87, formerly of Waterbury, died Friday morning at home. She was the wife of the late Pasquale Polletta.

     Born in Pontelandolfo, Italy on July 25, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Giocondina (Addona) Perugini. She immigrated to Waterbury in March of 1957 before moving to Wolcott in 1986. She was a former parishoner of St. Lucy's Church.

     Mrs. Polletta is survived by a son Domenic Polletta, a daughter Donna and her husband Mario Teta with whom she made her home, and a son Salvatore and his wife Angela Polletta all of Wolcott. She was the beloved grandmother of Angela LoRusso, Christina Martin, Deanna Rosa, Alainna Violette, Michael Polletta, Pasquale Teta, Mario Teta Jr., Annamaria Woodward and Salvatore Polletta Jr., and also leaves eleven great grandchildren . Besides her husband, she was predeceased by four brothers and a sister.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, 11 AM at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
