He was born March 21, 1922 in Southington, son of the late Benjamin and Felice (Mazzara) Perry. He had retired from New Departure and served in the U.S. Army Intelligence during WW II. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the European-African ?Middle Eastern Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the American Legion Kiltonic Post #72 for 33 years. He had been a parishioner of St. Thomas Church.
He is survived by a sister Catherine ?Kitty? Baldaccini of Southington and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his 4 brothers, Domenic, John, Joseph and Benjamin, his 2 sisters, Christine Thayer and Madeline Romatis.
The Funeral will be held Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Church. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery with Military Honors. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 9 a.m.- 10 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Donations may be made in his memory to the Charity of one?s choice.
