Anthony was born in Southington on October 7, 1930, the youngest of seven children born to the late Anthony Sr. and Annuziata (Landrette) Tavalozzi.
In addition to his wife he leaves two daughters, Debra Malcein of PA and Susan Yorski of Southington, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Anthony affectionately known to many as ?Junior? worked for 25 years the Southington Hardware Co., and was a lifetime member of the Sons of Italy. He was also a formidable bocce player, an avid Yankees fan, and a regular at the Carousel Restaurant. He will be missed by many.
The Funeral will be held on Tuesday 10:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. to The Immaculate Conception Church 130 Summer St. Plantsville at 11 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Plainville. Calling hours will be on Monday 4-7 p.m. .
