She was born December 20, 1956 in Hartford and was the daughter of the late John Harold and Beverly Jean (Lewis) Scholl.
Barbara attended Plainville High School and was employed as a CNA at local nursing homes. She loved animals and raised exotic birds from eggs. She was an avid painter and loved to draw, cook and share recipes. She was a kind and gentle soul with a wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Laura Anglis and husband Denis of Wolcott, Christian J. Ziegler of Marlborough and Barry J. Ziegler Jr. of FL; two brothers, John H. (Jack) Scholl and wife Donna of Chapin, SC and Glenn L. Scholl and wife Jane of Farmington; eight grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial for Barbara will be celebrated privately. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington has been entrusted with the arrangements.
