Brian W. Cari

Born December 3, 1980 in New Britain, he was the son of William and Jeanne (Dupuis) Cari.

Brian was a 1999 Southington High School graduate and received his BA from Elon University in N. Carolina. He was employed by the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM. He was an avid NASCAR and Boston Red Sox Fan and loved his dogs very much.

Besides his parents he leaves a brother, Michael R. Cari of Southington a sister Nicole M. Cari of Middletown; his maternal grandmother Mary Dupuis of Southington and his fiancée, Melissa K. Lekin. Brian also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Plantsville Congregational Church, 99 Church St., Plantsville for a service at

10 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling Hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245.
