Born January 5, 1940 in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Fanny (Bongiovanni) Brunetto.
Carol retired from the Hublein tax dept.
In addition to her husband she leaves her two children, Jeffrey Kempton and wife Lucie of Bangor, PA and Darlene Cirrito of Bristol; four grandchildren, Jay, Kevin, Emily and Brian; a brother Gerry Brunetto) and wife Caroline of Cromwell along with several nieces and nephews.
Carol Jean was an avid reader all of her life. She also enjoyed gardening and travel, taking many, many day trips throughout the region or occasionally several longer trips to visit her West Coast relatives, Hawaii, Italy and Western Canada. However, her specialty particularly to those who loved her were her arts & crafts. These included her many paintings that hang throughout her house, and, various stuffed dolls that she created for her children and grandchildren who, to this day, adore them as adults.
Belonging to a very large extended family, many of who have passed, she often amazed us with her seemingly unique ability to retain, understand and explain, particularly to those younger family members, who was who and how they related (along with an occasional hereto unknown story). Those “lessons”, sadly, have now concluded.
