I have know Carolyn from Grammar School, High School and College. We had wonderful memories all those years. As time passed, we found ourselves living close to each other, right in Watertown. My children would often play and watch her children as we lived only two houses away from each other. Then one day, Carolyn told me they were moving to Florida. I wished her the best.
Years later, as fate would have it, I saw Carolyn walking into the 76 truck stop where I was working at that time. We talked a while like our lives never missed a beat. We remained close friends, again.
When ever Carolyn called for help, I was there.
As good friends, I would always send or bring flowers for her birthday and other occasions.
I was heart broken when she called me about her illness. All I could think about was how she would beat the disease. Tears hit my eyes. I kept in touch with Carolyn, Barbara and our friends, Mary Ann and Anita. They would let me know what her situation was and how she was feeling.
Now, Carolyn has passed, but I will never forget her.
My thoughts and prayers are with Carolyn and her family.
I will always Love you Carolyn.

Carolyn and I became friends the first week of our freshman year at Crosby High School. We grew closer every year and became inseparable at Crosby. Her family was like a second family to me. Years later we roomed together in Hartford, Connecticut. We shared many interesting adventures .. ( not always condoned by our parents) Carolyn was a loyal friend and all around wonderful person. While we didn’t live near each other as we got older and on with our lives, we always
Reached out on our birthdays.
Rest In Peace my dear dear friend. 💕

Carolyn was a very special lady. She and I went to high school together although I never really knew her until we worked on several reunions together. Sorry to hear of her passing but she fought a long battle. Rest In Peace my friend. Lois
