

Concetta (Biasiucci) Ottalagana, 87, of Southington passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2022 at the Southington Care Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Raffalele Ottalagana, who adored her.
Born April 16, 1934 in Dragoni, Italy, Province of Caserta, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppi and Marietta (DelGuidice) Biasiucci.
Concetta was a co-owner of Napoli Import and enjoyed the followership of her loyal customers. Through her authentic Italian recipes, Connetta left an indelible memory of her pepper biscuits, delicious cookies and meatballs of which many still talk about to this day. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Thomas Church, a member of its Woman’s Guild and the Italian Rosary Society.
She leaves her children, Rosa Woodruff and husband Duncan of New Preston, Joseph Ottalagana and wife Ann of Southwick, MA and Fred Ottalagana and wife Jennifer of Southington; six grandchildren, Adam, Megan, Leah, Eleni, Katie and her husband Andrew, and Nicholas; one brother, one sister and one sister-in-law who reside in Italy and several nephews and nieces, including Joanna Elia of Cleveland, OH, and her beloved dog Jackie.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 18th at 11 a.m. at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Plantsville. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be prior to the Mass from 9-10:30 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.
