David Brian Dube, 64, passed away on February 15, 2026. Born on February 14, 1962, in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, a son of the late Gilbert and Germaine (Cormier) Dube, David moved to Connecticut at a very young age, where he was raised and built a life centered around family, hard work, and love.
David was the devoted husband of Tracy (Nappi) Dube and a proud father to his three sons: Chris Dube and his wife Lauren, DJ Dube and his wife Maureen, and Tyler Dube and his fiancée Nicole. Nothing brought him greater joy than being “Pe” to his six grandchildren: Camden, Cole; JJ, Brooks, Crew, and Hayden. He rarely missed a game, match, or event, and could always be found on the sidelines cheering them on with pride. He is also survived by his sisters Gaetane Laforge, Paula Toulman, Brenda Noonan, Fran Sgro, Linda Labieniec, and sister-in-law Judy Dube, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dave is predeceased by his brothers, Kenneth and James Dube, and sister-in-law Rita Turnquist.
David loved traveling with Tracy, especially trips to the beach where he felt most at peace. He also enjoyed the excitement of trips to the casino, always ready to press his luck and share a laugh along the way. He was a man who could never quite sit still — always moving, fixing, helping, or heading out the door — unless it was late in the day and he had a glass of scotch in his hand, finally relaxing after taking care of everything and everyone else.
He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and unwavering dedication to his family. He led by example, teaching loyalty, perseverance, and love through his actions every day. His quiet strength and dependable nature made him the foundation his family could always rely on.
Though he will be deeply missed, David’s legacy lives on in his wife, children, and grandchildren. The love he gave so freely will continue to guide and comfort them for generations to come.
He will be forever loved and remembered.
