David Plourde

David Plourde Jr. age 35 went home to be with God this week. David graduated from Platt High School in Meriden, CT. He was a former member of the Civil Air Patrol. David was a very talented musician playing electric and acoustic guitar with the band Silvergun for several years. He performed at Toad's Place in New Haven and got rave reviews for his performance. David spoke several languages including Polish and German and when he met someone who spoke another language, he would learn it in order to be able to communicate with them. David never met a stranger. He made positive lasting impressions on everyone he came in contact with and would just strike up meaningful conversations everywhere he went. David had such a big heart and would give you the last dollar he had if he knew you needed it. He was a protector. He would go up against anyone who was getting pushed around, bullied or picked on. David loved to fly and would often go to the Erwin NC Airport and go flying with whoever would take him up. David leaves behind his parents Carolyn (Mikosz) & Kenneth Murray, his sister Elizabeth (Plourde) & Christopher McLeod, his brother Anthony & Brooke (Marbell) Plourde, his daughters Victoria Plourde and Madison, his Godparents Francis & Roberta Pernal, his uncle Johnnie & Patricia Pernal, several cousins, aunts and uncles, his grandfather Chanel Plourde, his biological father David & Pamela Plourde, special friends Sarah and Gervais Barger, his favorite cousin Ryan Garry and his cat Sheldor. David was predeceased by his grandparents Casmir & Betty (Pernal) Mikosz, his great grandparents John & Betty (Kordys) Pernal, his cousin Timothy Ladd and his cousin and best friend Michelle Ladd. A celebration of David's life is being held on Sunday, May 10th at his home in Erwin, NC. David will always be remembered for his contagious beautiful smile, his zest for life, his beautiful soul and his talent. But most of all, he will be remembered as a loving son, brother and friend to all who knew him. We love you with all our hearts and always will my little bugaboo.... Love MOM
