Born in Augusta, Maine on June 7, 1951, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Arbour) Busque. Diane moved to Connecticut at the age of five, where she would grow up and eventually build a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and family.
Diane was the devoted wife of Dennis LaBarre, the love of her life and partner in all things. Together they raised two cherished daughters, Evelyn and Sarah, who, along with their families, were the center of her world. A proud and loving grandmother and great-grandmother, Diane found joy in spoiling her family, always ready with a warm hug, a kind word, or a silly game.
She had an extraordinary connection with animals. Creatures of all kinds seemed to instinctively sense her gentle spirit and unwavering affection. A lover of music and dancing, Diane also enjoyed word games, game shows, light travel, and movie nights. Her sharp wit, no-nonsense character, and spirited nature was admired by her family and friends.
Diane worked for many years as a dedicated podiatry sales representative with Moore Medical/McKesson, where she built strong relationships with medical providers across the country. Her professional integrity and personal kindness left a lasting impact on those she worked with.
A proud Green Bay Packers fan, Diane never missed a game—and wasn't shy about kicking Dennis out of the room if he tried to change the channel. Her passion for life, even in its quiet moments, was unmistakable. She valued simplicity, but her love for her family and the world around her was anything but small.
Diane is survived by her loving husband Dennis; her daughters Evelyn McInnis and her husband Michael, and Sarah LaBarre and her partner Jim Niemczyk; her beloved grandchildren Sheri Staranchek and her husband Craig, Lainnie Jurgasik, Jessica Jurgasik, Marissa Jurgasik, Colton McInnis, Logan McInnis, Connor McInnis; and great-grandchildren Landon Alicea and Bodhi Staranchek. She also leaves behind many dear nieces and nephews, including Cindy Wong, who was more like a daughter than a niece.
Diane’s presence, warmth, and laughter will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
