SOUTHINGTON, CT- Donald P. Wache, 84, formerly of Palenville, NY died Friday March 25, 2011 at the Summit at Plantsville where he resided for the last two years. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Smith) Wache.
Donald was born on May 21, 1927 in Jamaica, NY son of the late Gustave and Susan (Munnich) Wache. Donald was a well known artist and antique furniture restorer throughout and beyond Green County. He was a parishioner of Gloria Dei Church in Palenville.
Besides his wife Evelyn of over 55 years, he leaves a nephew and niece Philip and Rachel Wache of Southington, CT. He also leaves eight great-nieces and nephews in addition to many longtime wonderful friends in New York. He was predeceased by two brothers, William and Henry Wache and two sisters Dottie Wache and Anne Rolling.
Arrangements are entrusted to DellaVecchia Funeral Home in Southington. Services will be scheduled at the convenience of the family.
