

Edward and Helene “Hail” Fusco from Plantsville, CT passed into eternal rest on December 4th and 6th respectively. Edward Thomas Fusco was born on Bristol Street in Southington July 16, 1931 to the late Manfred and Genevieve (Muszynski) Fusco. He made Southington his home, and worked tirelessly to provide a good life for his family. Ed served proudly and honorably in the Korean War as a member of the U.S. Army. He was predeceased by his first wife Regina Albrecht and his brother Raymond U.S. Army Ret.
Hail was born April 14, 1941 to John E. Carmody and Marie (Bonney) Carmody of Southington. Hail’s family and friends were the love of her life and she touched so many people in such an amazing way – it was truly her gift. A true and trusted friend to all who came her way. Hail was predeceased by her brother John E. Carmody Jr. and her sister Ann Moynihan, and is survived by her brother Patrick Carmody of Southington.
Ed and Hail were married for over 58 years, shared a wonderful life together, and traveled the world in their retirement. They saw the birth of three grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren who were their pride and joy. They were lifelong parishioners of Mary our Queen Church and through their personal strength and unwavering faith in God, endured the loss of their son James M. Fusco and their granddaughter Olivia H. Fusco. They are survived by their sons Eddie and John.
Calling hours will be Monday, Dec. 21st from 10am-12pm and 4-7 pm. at DellaVecchia Funeral Home in Southington, 211 N. Main St., Southington. A Christian mass at Mary Our Queen Church on Dec. 22nd at 11am will be followed by burial at St. Thomas Cemetery.
