He was born Sept. 10, 1940 in Ukraine son of the late Efim and Vera (Tartakovsky) Zaslavsky. He had been a physician in Russia and had worked at various medical hospitals in the United States as a physician?s assistant.
Edward was an avid piano player and photographer. He enjoyed music, arts and travel.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son Alex Zaslavsky and his wife Natalie, 2 grandchildren, Julia and Leah.
Calling hours will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St, followed by interment at South End Cemetery.
