Eleanor was born on March 15, 1926 in Camden, NJ, and was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Kordek) Petzeck. She had been employed by New Britain General Hospital for several years before retiring.
Eleanor is survived by her niece Gail Colon of Avon and a nephew Robert S. Moore of FL along with several great nieces and nephews.
The Family wishes to thank Doctor James O? Hara and Doctor Robert Dicks for all their compassion and attention given to Eleanor, along with a special thank you to caregivers Barbara and Dorothy and everyone at the McLean Home who helped to keep the quality of Eleanor?s life at the highest possible level while she was in their care.
Services and burial are private, and there are no calling hours.
The family also requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to McLean Foundation, 75 Great Pond Rd., Simsbury, CT 06070.
The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington is assisting the family.
