Elizabeth Theresa Marut

She was born on Feb. 19, 1943 in New Britain, the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Konicki. She had worked at the New Britain Public Library and the former Bank of Southington. She was the Vice President of Shaw Belting Co. Mrs. Marut was a charter member of the Emblem Club in the Elks Lodge and a former member of the Southington Library Board. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Suzanne and Scott Caswell of Plainville and Nancy and husband Jason Lambert of New Britain, three grandchildren Storm and Logan Caswell and Indianna Lambert. She also leaves a brother Bernard Konicki of New Hampshire and two sisters, Janet Jedrzejczyk of Florida and Susan Jedrzejczyk of Arizona and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:15 am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd, at 11 am for a Mass. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Britain. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 pm.
