Evo Joseph Mongillo Jr.

He leaves his loving wife Tonia, daughter-in-law Charlene, sisters Midge Mongillo, Annie Mongillo, and Barbara Falco and her husband Tony. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and cousins. Also, his grand dog Cooper who gave him many hours of happiness. He was predeceased by his son Michael, sister Elaine Simone, Parents Evo Sr. and Sophie, and mother and father-in-law Jennie and Peter Marenna.

During his retirement, he enjoyed his daily McDonalds coffee with his buddies.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and aides at Midstate Medical Center in conjunction with the hospice care team who took very good care of him during his stay. The family also wishes to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Amir Ahmad for his concern and care.

A visitation for Evo will be held on Wednesday July 2, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. Southington. His funeral will be held on Thursday July 3, 2025 starting from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home at 10 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will then be held at 11 AM at the Church of St. Dominic 1050 Flanders Rd. Southington. Interment will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, Meriden Ave. Southington.
