Frances Dumin

She was born in Bristol the daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Tomkowki) Grabelski. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Florian Mfg. Co. and GE.

Frances was a Gold Star mother, a member of the Polish League of American Veteran's, The America Legion Post #72 Axillary, The Vietnam Veterans of America Associates. Frances loved to travel and enjoyed many trips with her loving family.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Dumin of New Britain, a grandson Paul-Michael Dumin and fiancee Carol Feyerabend, a sister Stella Martin of Southington, special friends Dorothy and Ronald Gravelle, Gretchen Musshorn and Denise Shaffer Amero, as well as Babcia of Eric Hanson, Jermey Gravelle , Susan and Steve Peters, Melissa Gravelle, Nathan, Tracy and Tiffany Lam as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son PFC Paul M. Dumin , a daughter Martha Dumin and 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Frances' family would like to thank Mid State Hospital in Meriden for the compassionate care they recieved.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 9:15 am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to Immaculate Conception Church at 10 am. Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 pm.
