Frank A. Lapico

Born May 12, 1928 the son of the late Frank A. and Bertha (Macri)

Lappico, Sr. Frank was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving with the US Army. He was employed by New Britain General Hospital for over 20 years, retiring in 1989 and was a parishioner of Mary Our Queen Church.

Besides his wife he is survived by 7 children, Katherine Lapico, Mary Kahn and Brenda Lapico all of Southington, Nancy Dellamarggio and her husband Andrew of Torrington, Frank A. Lapico III and his wife Anita of

E. Hampton, Susan Lapico of Southington and Arthur Fletcher and his wife Sharyn of Westbrook; 8 grandchildren, Robert, Angela, Katrina, Matthew, Sabrina, Thomas, Michael and Ryan; a brother, Joseph Lappico of Merritt Island, FL; a sister, Katherine Hurlbut of Meriden and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by twin grandsons Mark and Jonathan Dame and a son, Mark Fletcher.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at 9:15 am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Plantsville for a mass at 10 AM. Burial with military honors will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 300 research Pkwy., Meriden, CT 06450.
