Geraldine Cook

She was born August 16,1932 in Bronx, N.Y The daughter of the late Nicholas and Mildred (Bush) Grippo and lived in Southington 46 years until moving to West Hartford with daughter, Cynthia, in 2001

She is survived by her four daughters, Lori Ragalis and her husband Edward of New Britain, Gail Cook of Ocoee, FL and Pamela Cook Ocasio of New Britain, and Cynthia Van der Leur and her husband John of West Hartford; a sister Audrey Grippo Gregorio; a brother, Eugene Grippo; six grandchildren, Chris Cook of Orlando, FL, Amy Cook Hanlon of Southbury, Courtney and Nicholas Van der Leur of West Hartford, Kaitlin and Ryan Ragalis of New Britain; 2 great grandchildren Ava Marie Cook and Andrew James Hanlon as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter Maria Ocasio. Geraldine was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.
