Irene S. Rosa

Born in Waterbury on January 26, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Josephine (Rotella) Colella.

Besides her husband of 59 years, she is survived by her three children, Sharon Rosa of Conway, S.C., Paul P. Rosa III and his wife Teri of Wyomissing, PA, Eileen and her husband Ralph McWhorter of Hebron, KY, six grandchildren, Paul Rosa IV, Jordan Rosa, Austin Rosa, Jacqueline McWhorter, Andrew McWhorter and Daniel McWhorter, two brothers Victor Colella of East Haven, CT, Richard and his wife Margaret Colella of Waterbury, CT, two sisters Roseann and her husband Mario Gugliotti of Prospect, CT, Elaine and her husband Henry Gauthier of Braselton, GA.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by brother David Colella.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday January 7, 2017 at ST. Anthony’s Church in Prospect. Burial of cremains will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury.
