Joanne Calabro

She was born Sept. 17, 1945 in Waterbury, daughter of Edna (Johnson) Read of Southington and the late Peter Fazzone.

Besides her husband she is survived by 2 children, Cheryl and her husband Chris Ruggiero of Durham and Richard Bouchard of Bristol, her step children, Frank Calabro Jr. of NC, James Calabro of E. Windsor, Tina Fava of Cheshire and Jennifer Calabro of Plantsville, 3 brothers, Rodney Fazzone of Farmington, Robert Fazzone of Berlin and Richard Fazzone of Southington, a sister, Marlene Archer of Wildomar, CA, 6 grandchildren, Caitlyn , Christopher and Cameron Ruggiero, Michael Bouchard, Kayla and Brittany Morrissey, 5 step grandchildren, Vanessa, Sarah and Anthony Calabro, Cole Fava and Peyton Hillson, several nieces and nephews. Joanne loved spending time with her family and best friend, Carolyn Marzano. She loved being outdoors and especially the shore. She touched many lives, she will be loved and greatly missed.

The Funeral will be held Wednesday 10 am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will be at South End Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-8 p.m.
