Joanne D. Meier

She was born on Sept. 9, 1940 in Waterbury the daughter of the late Bertrand Dillon and Alice (Whalen) Dillon Perrelli She was affectionately know as JoJo to family and friends.

Prior to her retirement she was an administrative assistant at Miss Porter School, she also was employed by Travelers and Blue Stone Property Management

Joanne was an active member of the CT area Thunderbird Club and was an active follower of her children and grandchildren sports events.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Kevin and wife Christine, Todd and wife Elizabeth all of Southington and Tracey Meier of Durham, NC, three grandchildren Adalain, Jordon and Hartlee, she also leaves a sister Sharon Dinsmore and husband Jay and brother James and wife Patricia Dillon, her mother-in-law Evelyn Meier all of Southington and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to Mary Our Queen Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be at South End Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday TODAY from 5-8 p.m.
