He was born on Sept. 27, 1942 in New Haven, the son of the late Archibald and Catherine Hawley. Prior to his retirement he had been employed for many years at Mitchell Motors in Southington.
He is survived by his longtime companion Shelia Ronowicz of Southington and his son Angelo Hawley of Plainville.
Services and burial are private. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. is assisting with arrangements.
