John Lomberg

Born August 16, 1948 in New York to Henry and Inge Lomberg, John grew up in Milford, Connecticut and was a 1966 graduate of Jonathan Law High School. John attended the University of Bridgeport where he received his degree in accounting in 1970. During his college years he was also a member of the Army National Guard. He was most recently employed by Community Renewal Team in Hartford but spent many years as an accountant.

John was an avid golfer and traveler who enjoyed motorcycle rides and time with family and friends. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post of Southington. John was predeceased by his parents and a brother Richard of Bridgeport. He leaves behind two children, four step children, and two grandchildren, as well as many other close friends and family, including his best friend for many years, Al Dragon.

John was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. At the request of the family services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
