Born November 22, 1949 in East Hartford he was the son of the late Joseph G. Sr. and Mary (Kania) Knott.
In addition to his wife he leaves his children Christine Newsome and husband Robert of Southington, Raymond Knott and wife Tayna of Hazelgreen, AL, Ashley Slodzinski and husband Thomas of NY and Glenn Pelletier of Bristol; six grandchildren Raymond and Andrew Newsome, Dessa Britton, Garritt Harwood and his wife Ashley, Gianna and Londynn Slodzinski; five great grandchildren Katie and Rosalyee Britton, Michael and Andrew Wood and Daenerys Harwood; a brother Gary Knott of Glastonbury and several nieces and nephews. Joseph also leaves his best friends Dan Raiola and Phil Daigle. He was predeceased by a brother Kevin Knott.
Services for Joseph will be privately held with his family.
