Julia Guiditta

     She was born on June 30, 1918 in Waterbury daughter of the late Saverio and Josephine (Biondi) Perugini. She was a life long Waterbury resident and a graduate of Wilby High School in 1936. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and also attended The Shrine of St. Anne. She retired from Scovill Manufacturing Co. where she was a quality control inspector for over 22 years. She enjoyed duckpin bowling in the Pontelandolfo Club League and was a member of the Comet Club. She also enjoyed playing cards with her family and trips to the casinos.

      She leaves two daughters, Lucille Delage of Wolcott, Judith Perugini of Killingworth, four sons Nicholas Guiditta Jr. , Dennis Guiditta both of Wolcott, Gary Guiditta of Waterbury, Brian Guiditta of Oakville, a brother Anthony Perugini of Waterbury, sisters Lena Mucciaro of Waterbury and Gloria Carusillo of Watertown, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Brothers Daniel, Louis "Kayo" and Francis Perugini, sisters Louise and Mamie Perugini are deceased. Also among her survivors are her two sons in law, Robert Delage of Wolcott, Peter Perugini of Killingworth, and three daughters in law Karen and Christine Guiditta both of Wolcott, Lorraine Guiditta of Oakville, 14 grandchildren Roberta Raspo, Danielle Maringola, Peter N. Perugini Jr., Nicholas P. Perugini, , Nicholas V. Guiditta III, Michael C. Guiditta, Dennis J. Guiditta Jr., Joseph M. Guiditta, Lori A. Guiditta, Michael Hand, Ashley Guiditta, Jessica Guiditta, Brian J. Guiditta Jr. and Mark Guiditta., and her 8 great grandchildren Kaitlin Raspo, Robert Raspo Jr., Victoria Maringola, Ali Maringola, Alexia Perugini, Matthew Perugini, Gianna Perugini, Devin Perugini and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral Tuesday 9:00 AM from DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott to Our Lady of Lourdes Church for Mass Tuesday 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 5 to 8 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home in Wolcott.
