Julie C. Sirois

Julie (Christiansen) Sirois, 66, of Southington, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Hartford Hospital after a short illness. Julie was born on August 14, 1956 in Rochester, NY and was the daughter of the late William and Genevieve (Erdle) Christiansen. She graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a B.A. in Mass Communications and was employed by the State of Connecticut as an Eligibility Services Worker for many years.

More than anything, Julie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted friend to many, and treated everyone she met with the same kindness and sense of humor she shared with her closest friends and family. From days out with the girls, to sharing stories and laughing nightly with friends who lived just steps from her front door, Julie knew how to make people smile.

Julie is survived by her sons, Bryan C. Sirois and his wife Hayley of Port Orange, FL; and Kevin C. Sirois and his wife Ashley of Orange, CT. She was a devoted grandma to grandsons Mason, Peyton and Jacob. Julie is also survived by her siblings, her brother, Ronald Christiansen and wife Lynn of Pittsburgh, PA; and her sisters, Ann Petrus and husband Jim of New Canaan, CT; and Lynne Albertsen of Glen Carbon, IL. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kara Rein, Keith Petrus, Christine Petrus Kara and Adam Albertsen.

A memorial service for Julie will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11 a.m., at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington, CT 06489. A calling hour from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. will be held prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Julie's memory may be made to the Susan G.
