

Karen Ann (Kindelan) Norton, of Southington, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Hartford Hospital after a brief illness. Born on March 18, 1941, in New Britain, CT, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Doris (Davey) Kindelan.
Karen was married to the late Alan Norton, with whom she shared 50 years and many cherished memories, including trips to Alan’s hometown of Bournemouth, England.
She was a devoted mother to her son, Sean Norton, her daughter, Heather Norton and son-in-law Frank Bonfilio. Karen’s granddaughter Megan Bonfilio was the light of her life and the two shared a special bond. Karen is survived by her siblings: Sandra, Doreen, Davey and Jerilyn Kindelan along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters-in-law Brenda Norton and Maryellen Kindelan along with her nephew, Scott Kindelan.
Karen was an excellent cook and enjoyed spending time with family, laughing with friends, reading a good book, doing jigsaw puzzles and watching her British shows. She will be remembered for her candid nature, sense of humor, strength, compassion and generosity. Karen will be deeply missed.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at St. Dominic Church 1050 Flanders Rd. Southington. The family will receive visitors prior to Mass from 8:30AM-10:15AM at the Della Vecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. Southington. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Karen's memory may be made to the American Heart Association by going to www.Heart.org or to a charity of one’s choice.
