Laura T. Gerrish

Born on Feb. 1, 1928 in Ashland, ME, the daughter of the late Alcide and Stella (Theriault) Levesque.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Laura enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.

In addition to her husband she leaves 4 children, Harold E. “Jerry” Gerrish III and wife Cheryl of Southington, Deborah Hilliker of New Britain, Donald Gerrish and wife Jessica of Southington, and Jason Gerrish of Bristol;  4 grandchildren, Michael Gerrish, Shelby  Hilliker, Emily Gerrish and Sarah Gerrish, 2 great grandchildren, Matthew and Erica Gerrish a brother Robert Levesque, 6 sisters, Jeannette Gagne, Regina Ouelette , Nancy Paradis, Evelyn Salomone, Edna Moro and Alice Drouin and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009 at 10 a.m. at South End Cemetery, Southington. There are no calling hours. DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. is assisting with arrangements.
