She was born Dec. 16, 1950 the daughter of the late Lawrence and Denise (Hamerstrom) Miller. Laurie was an avid golfer and very proud of her hole in one.
Besides her husband Edward, she is survived by her daughter, Allison Piteo-Gould and her husband Ryan , her grandchildren Jack, Mackenzie, Sam, Savannah and Ella all of Wolcott. She is also survived by Marilyn Piteo of Bristol, her sisters, Denny Miller of Meriden and Susan Stumpf and her husband William of Deep River,and many nieces and nephews. She leaves her dearest friend Katie DeAngelis of Middlebury.
Calling hours will be Friday 4-7 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Funeral services and burial will be private. Donations may be made in her memory to the HCC, New Britain Campus, 100 Grand St., New Britain, CT 06052.
