Lea Martin

Born in Waterbury on Feb. 24, 1921 the daughter of the late Romeo and Miriam (Liberty) Dumochel. She had been a former resident of Cheshire. She was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Church. Mrs. Martin played the organ and loved all kinds of music, she was an avid gardener and enjoyed a variety of plants and flowers, she also enjoyed the games at the casinos.

She is survived by a daughter Nancy Brayfield of Southington, a son Michael Martin of CA, 3 grandchildren, Sarah, Shelly and Lisa Brayfield, 5 sisters, Olive Taylor of ME, Agnes McCarthy of Waterbury, Margaret Perriello in FL., Miriam Belliveau of Virginia and Joan Cavanaugh of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother George Dumochel.

The Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington to St. Aloysius Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Bridget Cemetery in Cheshire. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. Visit us online at www.dellavecchiafh.com
