

Lucille Irene (Wade) Feltt, 97, of Southington, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017. She was the wife of the late William Feltt. She was born in Willsboro, NY on Aug. 24, 1920 the daughter of the late Frank and Eva Wade.
Lucille graduated from Plattsburg Teachers College in Plattsburgh, NY, in 1942.She taught in Swastika Rural School in Swastika, NY and Port Henry High School in Port Henry, NY. Lucille was also a third grade teacher at Hatton and Flanders School in Southington.
Upon retiring after 36 years of teaching experience, she became a volunteer at Flanders for 20 years. She was a member of Calendar House, AARP and the Association of Retired Teachers. Lucille enjoyed vacationing at the cottage in Willsboro, NY, line and ballroom dancing with her many friends. Reading, Yankee baseball games and UCONN basketball were her favorite pastimes.
Lucille is survived by her two sons Gary and his wife Jennifer of Southington, Terry and his wife Doreen of Terryville, a daughter Bonnie and her husband Alan Botteon of Bristol. She is also survived by nine grandchildren Michael Feltt and his girlfriend Lindsay, Amy Battista and her husband Craig, Richard Feltt and his girlfriend Jessica, Christopher Feltt and his wife Lisa ,Katherine Tamaro and her husband Pete and Nicole, Lauren and Jamie Botteon and several greatgrandchildren , a sister Geraldine Rathburn of Springfield, VT along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a grandson Wade Botteon and a sister Alice Tucker.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Nov. 9th at 10 am at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. in Southington.
