Maria Grahn

Maria ( Grazioso) Grahn, 62, of Southington, passed away on October 1, 2015 after a long illness. Maria was born on July 31, 1953 in Southington and was the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Cardinale) Grazioso.

She was a lifelong resident of Southington. She attended Milldale , Kennedy, Southington High School. She was an insurance representative with The Hartford for many years. She later owned her own cleaning business and operated a second hand shop. Maria had a flair for fashion, enjoyed shopping flea markets and vintage stores. Her friends and family will forever remember her laugh and smile as well as her generosity. Maria never forgot to acknowledge their life events with a card. .

She is survived by the love of her life her son, Nicholas David Grahn and his girlfriend Dawn Badorek, her brothers, Frank Grazioso and his wife Cynthia Ciafardoni, Anthony Grazioso and his wife Jane and Michael Grazioso all of Southington along with many nieces, nephews, aunts , uncles and cousins. She is also survived by Hailey DiNello who she said was like a daughter to her and closest friend Nancy Serafino both of Southington.

She was predeceased by her husband David Grahn, and a niece Patience (O'Dell) Angelillo.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. in Southington. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 5-7 pm.
