

Born in Waterbury on October 25, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Isidore "Bizzy" and Rita (Rousseau) Bisaillon. She was a cook at the 7-11 Restaurant which was owned by her father. Laura was a caterer at the Franco American Social Club and independently for family and friends. She was also a past president and a bartender at the Franco Club. Laura's family in Canada has a farm that she would visit annually. She loved horses and her dogs, especially her dog Lexi. She was a life long parishioner of the Shrine of St. Anne.
Besides her husband of 52 years, Laura leaves her three sons, Alan Chartier of Bristol, Marc and his wife Jennifer Chartier of Naugatuck, Thomas and his wife Kendall Chartier of Newport News, VA, a daughter Amy and her husband Joseph Kandrot of Narrowsburg, NY, her five grandchildren Peyton, Lauren, Jolie and Jocelyne Chartier and Seth Kimmer. She also leaves three brothers Isidore and his wife Carolyn Bisaillon Jr. of Naugatuck, Daniel Bisaillon of Terryville, Francis Bisaillon of Wolcott, two sisters Sister Michele (Irene) Bisaillon of Willimantic, Claudette and her husband Ernest DelPrete of Wolcott. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers J. Richard and his wife Regina Bisaillon, and J. Raymond Bisaillon.
Funeral will be Saturday at 10:15 am from DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott to St. Pius X Church / St. Basil Parish for Mass at 11 am. Burial will be at the family's convenience.
