

Born in Waterbury on September 1, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Zemack) Albonsky. A Wolcott resident since 1959, she was a parishioner of St. Maria Goretti Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Wolcott VFW Post 1979. She worked as a cook at Oakcliff Convalescent Home in Waterbury for 15 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking but her life was truly centered around her family.
Marion leaves 8 children including five sons, William and his wife Patti of Mesa, AZ, David of Enfield, Patrick of Watertown, Michael, Joseph and his wife Nanci all of Wolcott, three daughters, Christine and her husband Richard Falcone of Guilford, Kathleen Fleming of Ashville, NC, Eileen Fleming of Bristol, 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Besides her husband of 54 years she was predeceased by a sister Blanche Ablamsky , a brother Frank Albonksy and a granddaughter Lisa Falcone.
Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10:30 AM meeting directly at St. Maria Goretti Church 1300 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
