Maureen Crowley

She was born on August 4, 1940, in New Britain, the daughter of the late Henry and Pauline (Stachelski) Iskra. She had worked for many years for the Southington Police Department. Mrs. Crowley was the Administrative assistant to the Chief when she retired, she was affectionately known as "Mrs. C" by the entire police force.

She was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and she taught CCD there for 11 years. Maureen was a member of Bradley Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and she was an avid Boston Red Sox and UCONN Husky Fan.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Michael and wife Lori Crowley of CA, Kevin and wife Vanessa Crowley of Middletown, Kathleen and husband Randy Bonomi of Plantsville and Keith and wife Patty Crowley of MA. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Aidan, Maiah, Tyler, Samantha, Ryan, Emily, Christopher and James, as well as her sister Jean Raczka of Southington and 2 nieces and a nephew, Gail Skrzypiec, Linda Raczka and David Raczka.

She was predeceased by a brother-in-law William Raczka.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington.
