Southington- Maurice Pichette, 63, of Lanning St., passed away on Thursday August 24, 2006 at Bradley Memorial Hospital.
Born on March 13, 1943, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ida (Bournival) Pichette.
He had been employed by Spring Manufacturing and had also been a Jocky at one time. Maurice had also served in the US Army.
Maurice is survived by two sons Omar Pichette of Wolcott and Maurice Pichette Jr. of Bristol, a brother Ray Pichette and his wife Lou of Saratoga, NY, a sister Pauline Garcia and her husband Jessie of Newton, KS., along with several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers George and Kenneth Pichette and a sister Elaine Politz.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday August 31 at 9 AM at St. Thomas Church 99 Bristol St. in Southington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family, and there are no calling hours.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 538 Preston Ave. Meriden, Ct. 06450-1004. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. in Southington are in charge of arrangements.
