He was born August 3, 1948 in New Britain, the son of the late Lucian and Gertrude (Silvernail) Kraft. He had been a Truck Driver for many years. He enjoyed camping and was known as “Puptent Pete” with the Central CT Coachman Van Club for over 30 years. He also was an avid Deer Hunter.
He is survived by his daughter Heidi Kraft of Willimantic, 2 brothers, David Kraft of Southington and Lucian Kraft Jr. of Plainville, a sister Alice Gawel of Plainville, 3 grandchildren, Kaylene Marie Kraft, Christopher DiNalo and Tyler James Doherty and several niece and nephews.
The funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours.
