

Philip Roland LeBlanc (54) passed on, Monday, May 25, 2020 at his family home following a long illness. He was born January 12, 1966 to Deacon Gaspard and Denise (Frechette) LeBlanc. Phil was a long-time resident of Waterbury’s South End and devoted his time to his community through various charity work through the Union St Jean-Baptiste Council N-304, Catholic Financial Life for which he held the positions of Treasurer and President. He was an active member of his churches, St Anne’s and the Calvary Chapel of Southbury and a staunch supporter of the National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI).
Phil is survived by his father Gaspard LeBlanc of Waterbury: his sister, Michele LeBlanc and her son Daniel Slamons of Waterbury; his brother David LeBlanc of Waterbury and his children, Caitlin Geary-Seigars of Maine, Emilene LeBlanc of Bristol and James and Jillian LeBlanc of Southington. Philip enjoyed spending time with his grand-nieces Maddelyn Bubier, Caralynn Seigars, Dahlia Gables and Abigail Nelson. His sense of fun, humor, and devotion to the Boston Red Sox and UCONN Women’s Basketball will long be remembered by countless cousins and friends.
