Rejeanne Mary Poulin Greer

Rejeanne Mary Poulin Greer, 85, formerly of Butler Ave., passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the Sheridan Woods Healthcare Center in Bristol. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel F. Greer.

Born June 22, 1923 in Compton, Canada, a daughter of the late Omer and Delia (Doyon) Poulin.

Rejeanne was a longtime Southington resident and a parishioner of St. Thomas Church. She loved music and playing the guitar. She was very crafty and made many quilts for her family and friends and was an avid bowler.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; Daniel and Myrna Greer of Bristol, Richard and Cecelia Greer of Columbia, MD and James and Cynthia Greer of Bristol; a sister Flo Sullivan of Morton, MS; six grandchildren, Daniel and Michael Greer and Denise Blatchley, Christine Greer, Julie Sleigh and David Greer; seven great-grandchildren, Jakob, Daniel, Katherine, Keith Jr., Zayda, Celicia and Ayden. Rejeanne also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. 

Her family would like to thank the nurses and the nurse’s aides especially Val P. at the Sheridan Woods HealthCare Center.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at 10 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., Southington for a mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. 

Calling hours will be held on Saturday morning from
