Richard M. Lessard

He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Barbara (Peterson) Lessard; his son, Robert Lessard; his daughter Alyse Thompson and her husband, Kevin Thompson; his brother Raymond Lessard and his wife, Gail Lessard; his sister Renee Delahunty and her husband, Phillip Giuliani; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard was born on January 9, 1958 in Bristol He spent the earlier part of his life growing up as a resident of Southington, attending and graduating from Southington High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Central Connecticut State University. He remained in the heavy equipment parts and repair business for the majority of his life.

He was predeceased by his beloved mother and father, Roger and Rita Lessard of Southington.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 at 7:30 pm in his honor, at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. We will celebrate his life with photos, speeches, poems, stories and anything else you would like to share to remember how wonderful Rick truly was. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6-7:30 pm

Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery on Wednesday at 11 am.
