
Born in Bridgeport on October 15, 1925, he was the son of the late Frank and Bessie (Whitney) Brady. He served in the US Army during WWII in the 5th Ranger Battalion. For 35 years he taught at the King Philip Jr. High School in West Hartford. He was an award winning State Champion Fifer in several Drum Corps. including Lancraft in New Haven. He was also an avid bowler in Southington.
Robert is survived by his five children Eileen Esposito and Mark Brady of Wolcott, Evelyn Reeve and Noreen Cochran both of Prospect and Christine Schumacher of Bristol, 11 grandchildren, Daniel, Justin, Randy, Ryan, Katie, Diana, Sheila, April, Beth, Sean and James, 3 great grandchildren Ryan, Reilly and Trent, and a nephew Edmund Brady.
Funeral Mass will be Friday April 4, 2008 at 12 noon at St. Aloysius Church. Burial with military honors will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
