He was born May 14, 1946 in New Britain, the son of the late Donald and Shirley (Rider) White Babula.
Robert was a veteran of the U.S Army, serving in Germany during the Vietnam War.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, boating and archery. He was always happiest when he was out in nature. He was also a talented leather craftsman and owner of the craft consignment store Things People Do.
He is survived by his sister Jan Kozlowski and her husband Peter of Southington.
