75 years ago God sent Rose to this earth to help make it a better place. Well, she outdid herself. She lived a simple life in accordance with the life represented by the crucifix to which she prayed daily. Rose opened her heart and purse to humans and animals alike so that they may enjoy a life better than her own. The Lord admired this work and determined on Saturday that her earthly objectives have long been accomplished and that her services were now needed in Heaven. There she will again care for her mother, father, husband and many dogs and will be there to greet all of us as we follow the bright path she had forged in the world and now into the next.
Prior to her retirement Rose worked for many years as a Dispatcher for Amodio Moving and Storage in New Britain.
Rose leaves behind her loving daughter Laura (Corfiati) Jones and husband Larry of Plainville, 3 grandsons, whom she adored, Todd Jones of Washington DC, Eric Jones of Wolcott and Scott Jones of Plainville, her brother Francis Falco of Southington and her sister Patricia Franki of Apollo Beach, FL and also her precious dog Dollie who was the light of her life.
Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours. DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. is assisting with arrangements.
