
Susan (Denuzze) Sinclair, 58, of New Britain, and a former longtime resident of Southington, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2012. She was surrounded by her loving children at Middlesex Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late James Sinclair Sr.
She was born in New Britain on Nov. 25, 1954, the daughter of Marguerite (Howard) Denuzze and the late Andrew Denuzze. She graduated from Central CT State University and had been a teacher in the New Britain Public School District for many years. She is survived by three children, James Sinclair Jr., Andrea Sinclair, Maggie and husband Jon Poisson, and cherished grandson James Poisson of Southington; loving sister Patricia Stevens of Georgia and niece Sarah Stevens. Sue also leaves many close friends including her companion Derrick Gray.
Sue was a member and Stephens Minister at the First Congregational Church in Southington. In her youth she was active in theater and had a lifelong love of music which she instilled in her children. She was an animal lover who gave a home to many rescues. She enjoyed the beach and was most at home watching the sunrise on Cape Cod. Sue had a warm, giving heart, a fabulous sense of humor, and a free spirit.
A homecoming service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 37 Main St.Southington. There are no calling hours. DellaVecchia Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
